Word on the virtual street is that there will be no fewer than four marches converging at 5th and Broadway tomorrow, all in support of immigrant rights. I'm glad we can still march in the US to voice our opinions.

The marches this year will undoubtedly be more peaceful than last year's at MacArthur Park.

My weather widget says it's going to hit 97 degrees Fahrenheit today, which is, of course, the PERFECT whether to avoid the beach and wander down Broadway during the AT&T Fiesta Broadway.
We saw many of the preparations last night. (Basically there were a multitude of bouncehouses being inflated. I wonder, do they sterilize those things in between rentals?). If it's anything like years'...see more »

In area, 90013 is a very small zipcode, quite possibly one of the smallest in California. It includes a tiny portion of the west bank of the concrete-lined Los Angeles River (between the 4th and 6th Street bridges), lunges westward from there along East Sixth to West Sixth, until reaching Grand Avenue.
